Benchmark Sales proudly has been awarded Dole National Foodservice Broker of the Year for 2008 for the New England Upstate New York markets. Joe St. Pierre, Region Manager of Dole Foodservice, presented the award to Benchmark’s President/Partner, John Narkiewicz, and Vice President of Marketing & Operations, Kurt Mungenast. The award was given in recognition of outstanding sales and distinguished service for 2008. Benchmark also was named the Eastern Region Broker of the year for the 7th time.

Smucker’s Uncrustables recently named Benchmark Sales & Marketing as the Eastern Region Broker of the Year, SY 2007-2008, and presented to Benchmark’s Manager of School Foodservice, Melissa DeCoffe, the Eastern Region School Specialist of the Year award. Bob Palmiere, Regional Manager for Smucker’s Uncrustables, and Joe Rovelli, Director of Sales-Uncrustables, presented the awards to DeCoffe, Dave Gotta, Director of Sales for Benchmark, and John Narkiewicz, President/Partner of Benchmark. Both Benchmark and Melissa DeCoffe were recognized for their outstanding efforts and sales successes over the 2007-2008 school year selling the Uncrustables line of products. Melissa’s “high energy” approach to managing the New England school business with Smucker’s “made a difference” generating significant sales growth during the year according to John Narkiewicz.

ConAgra Foods® Lamb Weston recently awarded Benchmark Sales & Marketing two of their highest sales honors for 2007: (1) The Charlie Carroll, Sr. National Sales Agency of the Year Award and (2) the Northeast Division’s Sales Agency of the Year award. The Northeast Division award marked the second consecutive year that Benchmark received the award. Joe Kunde, Vice President Foodservice Sales, and Mark Hayden, Sr. Vice President of Supply Chain Management & Distribution Sales, of ConAgra Foods Lamb Weston, presented the two awards to John Narkiewicz at Lamb Weston’s National Sales Meeting held at the Four Seasons Resort and Club in Irving, Texas. Receiving these two prestigious sales awards John Narkiewicz, President/Partner of Benchmark Sales & Marketing, said was an honor and tremendous achievement that clearly recognized the strong efforts of our sales team and a very high level of sales execution by Mike Kenney and Steve Riseman, co-account executives on the Lamb Weston account.
