Chesapeake Bay Style Crab Cakes

cup Celery, peeled, minced

cup Red Pepper, minced

cup Mayonnaise

beaten eggs

Tbsp. Lemon Juice, fresh

Tbsp. Lemon Zest

Tbsp. Old Bay® Seasoning

tsp. Hot Red Pepper Sauce

tsp. Custom Culinary® Gold Label Roasted Garlic Base, No MSG Added

Tbsp. Custom Culinary® Gold Label Lobster Base, No MSG Added

cup bread crumbs, plain
|

1/2
cup parmesan cheese, fresh grated
|

lbs. Lump, Crab Meat
|
|
|
Instructions:
- In a sauté pan, heat olive oil over medium high heat. Add onions, celery, and red peppers. Sauté 5-7 minutes, sitrring frequently. Set aside.
- In a large mixing bowl, combine mayonnaise, eggs, lemon juice, lemon zest, red pepper sauce, Old Bay seasoning, Custom Culinary® Gold Label Roasted Garlic Base and Lobster Base, and sauteed vegetables, mixing well.
- Add bread crumbs and parmesan cheese, mixing well. Gently fold in crab meat until well blended.
- Form mixture into equal portion cakes. Sauté in a lightly oiled sauté pan or griddle until evenly browned on both sides. Place on a baking sheet. Bake 5-7 minutes at 350 degrees F. Serve with lobster, dijon and roasted red pepper dipping sauce.
